Little Miss Sunshine: The Invitations

The invitations were so cute! 

We cut out Little Miss Sunshine shapes and added the details to the back.

Sounds simple but we spent many hours working on the computer template and then with the cardstock to get it just right.

We printed a photo of Felicity on sticker paper for the back.

Little Miss Sunshine: The Playlist

We had a very fun time working out a sunshine music playlist.

Lots of ideas throughout the internet but none of them had 'Little Ray of Sunshine' which surprises me because it is perfect for a little girls first birthday.

After the party and various naps Felicity opened her presents 

(with a bit of help from big brother and big sister)

Little Miss Sunshine: The Photobooth

Our makeshift photobooth invited guests to answer the question 'Who are you?'

We provided some options of different characters including Little Miss Sunshine, 

Mr Grumpy and Mr Bounce

Little Miss Chatterbox was very popular 

Lucy and Henry had a wonderful time hamming it up for the camera

I was Little Miss Busy, of course!

Little Miss Sunshine: The Pizza

What is a party at our place without wood-fired pizza?

This time we bought a tent with flyscreens to put over the ingredients table

Henry assumed his role of dough rolling inspector and then as deputy fire chief.

The boy will be in charge soon

Little Miss Sunshine: Party favours

Our new Silhouette machine was busy making these favours. As was I!

We made these boxes in shades of yellow, orange and cream and added names to the top

Ribbons attached to the sides created a carrying handle

Inside was a Mr Men/Little Miss book, some Mr Men bandaids and a bookmark

Andrew even designed a Mr Bump sticker for the bandaid envelopes!

I made them even for the teenagers in attendance.  Thankfully they deemed them cool enough to take home!

Little Miss Sunshine: The Clothes

All the clothes were yellow too! We asked guests to wear yellow

Andrew wore a 'Mr Clumsy' tshirt and Henry a 'Mr Bump' one

Lucy and Felicity wore matching sunflower cardigans and yellow shirts

The wonderful tutu was a gift from the Holmes family

and the highlight of the event was the pair of gold glitter TOMS.  Size 4
