The adventures of an Australian family in American southern culture where the vowels are long and the food is deep fried.

About Us
We have been living in the US for over 2 years, having moved here from Sydney Australia. Andrew and I have been married for 10 years, Lucy our daughter is 3 years old and Henry our son is a newborn. We enjoy learning about American culture and it is fun to look at life with Australian eyes. We are currently in the process of building our own wood-fired pizza oven in our backyard. We attend a Presbyterian church and spend a lot of time thinking about God. We like going to the beach, gardening and watching Hawthorn win grand finals!! We love to travel and so far we have set foot in 16 of the 50 US states (+ the District of Columbia). Though there is some debate on this number as technically we have been in Ohio and Indiana as well. If we could travel anywhere tomorrow we'd flip a coin between Bilbao Spain (to complete our Guggenheim quest) and Naples Italy (to see all the real artefacts removed from the Pompeii excavation).
