Alamogordo

Ah Alamogordo. Like Roswell, this is a place that we could have skipped and not been the worse for. We did four things here:

1. New Mexico international space museum
2. Lunch at Memories
3. Toy train ride
4. Eagle Farm Pistachio Ranch

The lunch was good and the pistachios were excellent. Unfortunately having just visited the Johnston space center in Houston, the space museum just didn't cut it. Despite some timing problems we did enjoy the imax movie on the Hubble telescope that we had missed in Houston.

After lunch we headed over to the toy train depot for a ride around the park. It was okay - unfortunately it was mainly a straight track with just the highway for a view. After the train ride we jumped in the car and headed straight back to Ruidoso.
