Science Project update

All five of our caterpillars spun cocoons and then emerged as butterflies. We kept them for a few days putting sugary water onto carnations in the bottom of the hatchery for them to feed on. Then we released them into the backyard to benefit the garden! The hatching process was quite fun to watch especially the wiggly cocoons.
